Sid Gaitonde joined Vector Capital in 2025 as an Operating Partner.

Sid works with Vector portfolio companies to drive growth, operational excellence, digital transformation, and enterprise value creation. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Vispero, a global leader in assistive technology and digital accessibility solutions for the blind and low vision community. In this role, he is focused on advancing Vispero’s market leadership, deepening customer and community engagement, and accelerating the company’s transition toward more durable, recurring revenue models. Since joining Vector, Sid has also supported value creation efforts at Mood Media, with a focus on growth strategy, recurring-revenue expansion, operational execution, and innovation.

Prior to joining Vector, Sid served as President of the Retail & Energy business at PDI Technologies, where he led global transformation initiatives spanning product innovation, AI strategy, go-to-market execution, and operational integration. During his tenure, he managed more than 20 acquisitions, expanded PDI’s international footprint, and materially increased recurring software and services revenue. Earlier in his career, Sid held leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies including GE and Sandvik, where he built and scaled technology businesses serving the mining, oil and gas, logistics, and retail sectors. Sid is recognized for aligning product, technology, and go-to-market strategies to accelerate growth and improve execution. He focuses on building high-performance teams, enabling data-driven decision-making, and driving sustainable value creation across complex businesses.

Sid holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
