Rob is a Principal and joined Vector Capital in 2008.
His areas of expertise include Internet services and communications technology. He led Vector's investment in Cambium Networks, a spin-out from Motorola Solutions. He previously worked closely with Register.com on issues of strategy and corporate development and was instrumental in its sale to Web.com.
Rob came to Vector from The Carlyle Group, where he focused on middle market buyout investments and growth equity opportunities in the software, communications and business services sectors. Prior to Carlyle, Rob worked at MSD Capital, a private investment firm which exclusively manages the capital of Michael Dell. There he focused on investments in public technology companies across the capital structure. Prior to MSD Capital, he worked in investment banking at Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Rob received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University.
