Rock Meng is a Senior Associate at Vector Capital and joined the firm in 2005. Rock’s areas of expertise include enterprise software, packaged software, and public company investing; he has participated in buyouts such as Register.com, WatchGuard Technologies, InterVideo, Tripos and Printronix.
Prior to Vector, Rock worked in Morgan Stanley’s Technology Investment Banking group. During this time, he assisted in financing and/or advisory work in the semiconductor, wireless, enterprise software and messaging security sectors. His clients included Atheros Communications, nVIDIA, ON Semiconductor, Seagate Technology, Solectron, as well as a number of software companies in sectors ranging from tools and ERP to storage and security.
Rock holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.
