Rock is a Vice President at Vector Capital and joined the firm in 2005. Rock’s areas of expertise include enterprise and infrastructure software, storage and public company investing. He has participated in transactions such as Register.com, WatchGuard Technologies, InterVideo, Tripos, Printronix, TallyGenicom, and Cambium Networks.
Prior to Vector, Rock worked in Morgan Stanley’s Technology Investment Banking Group. During this time, he assisted in financing and/or advisory work in the semiconductor, wireless, enterprise software and messaging security sectors. His clients included Atheros Communications, nVIDIA, ON Semiconductor, Seagate Technology, Solectron, as well as a number of software companies in sectors ranging from tools and ERP to storage and security.
Rock holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.
