Insight & Approach
Cambium operated as two separate business units within Motorola Solutions, Orthogon Systems and Canopy. While the businesses had excellent technology and products, they did not fit into Motorola’s strategic vision for its future. Vector leveraged its deep expertise in corporate carve outs and partnered with the management team to create a world-class standalone company in 2011.
Vector Value Add
Vector supported the management team in creating a truly standalone business out of a collection of products and employees transferred from Motorola. After the business was up and running with new systems and processes, Vector assisted the management team with revamping the product strategy to expand the addressable market and position the company for sustainable, long-term growth.
